A seasoned entrepreneur and enterprise software visionary with over 20 years experience in both start-up and large companies. He was the Co-Founder and VP of Velosel Corporation (acquired by TIBCO, 2005), a pioneer of the Master Data Management (MDM) space. At Velosel, he drove the strategy and growth of the company, securing over $40 Million in venture capital financing, recruiting a senior management team, and serving on the Board of Directors. Prakash led the post-merger integration effort at TIBCO, then spent three years at SAP as the Head of Product and Technology Strategy within the Office of the CEO. At SAP, he was responsible for key strategic initiatives including the SAP Big Data (Hana) business strategy.
Dave BrewsterCo-Founder and CTO
A serial entrepreneur and seasoned enterprise software technology leader with more than 20 years experience in successfully architecting and delivering scalable technology platforms. He was one of the lead platform development engineers at NetDynamics (acquired by Sun, 1998), a pioneer in the Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) application server market. Dave then served as Chief Architect at Cascade Works (acquired by Elance), a leading services procurement application provider. Dave also was Chief Architect and Head of Platform development at Guidewire (IPO, January 2012), where he was responsible for architecting and building the Guidewire platform. He led a team of 40 developers delivering four major core enterprise applications to over 100 customers all running on a single, highly scalable, and extensible platform.
Dinesh KatiyarAccel Partners, India
Dinesh Katiyar grew up in Zambia (Africa) and then Mumbai, India and has been at Accel since 2011. At Accel, Dinesh focuses on early stage cross-border (US-India) companies. His investments include Mindtickle, Paxata, Yakit and Simility. Dinesh has been involved in several entrepreneurial pursuits in Silicon Valley. He was a founder at iLeverage (acquired by E.piphany) and SayNow (acquired by Google) and CEO at Small Device (acquired by Digital Chocolate). He also held positions with Sun, Motorola, and Citrix. Dinesh holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, India.
Lawrence LowVP Investments, EDBI
Mr. Lawrence Low serves as an Assistant Vice President of EDB Investments Pte. Ltd. Mr. Low is based in the Singapore office and specializes in investments in digital media. Mr. Low has five years of experience in private equity, debt financing, research, technology commercialization, strategic planning and finance. He serves as Vice President of Investments at EDBI. He benefits his portfolio companies through a unique combination of scientific and technical expertise, a wealth of management and commercial experience, and with EDBI’s strong and wide-ranging network with local, regional, and global businesses; venture capital and private equity investment firms; and government leaders and agencies. He leads investment activities in Internet, enterprise mobility, software, and healthcare out of the EDBI office in Redwood City, California. His focus is on expanding his portfolio companies into Asian markets. Prior to joining EDB Investments, Mr. Low was employed at OCBC where he evaluated new deals, conducted credit analysis, structured and executed transactions and advised on debt financing for large corporate clients. He began his career as a Research Engineer at Ingenieurebureau Deisenroth and ST Kinetics where Mr. Low was actively involved in defense research and product development and technology commercialization. He serves as a Director of PatientSafe Solutions, Inc. He earned an M.B.A. from Nanyang Technological University; an M.B.A. in Technology Management from Waseda University; and a B.Sc. in Material Science and applied Science degree from National University of Singapore.
Igor TaberDirector, Intel Capital
Igor Taber is a Director at Intel Capital Datacenter Investment group leading Big Data, Analytics and Cloud investments. He has led investments and serves on the Boards of Arcadia Data (Hadoop Analytics), BlueData (big data virtualization), dataArtisans (streaming platform), GoodData (cloud BI), Saffron (cognitive computing, acquired)), Striim (real time analytics) and several other stealth mode companies. He initially joined Intel Capital in 2008 and prior to current investment focus, he led Intel Capital investments in Russia where he invested in number of leading consumer and enterprise companies: DeNovo (cloud provider), Rock Flow Dynamics (simulation software), kupiVIP (ecommerce), Ozon (ecommerce), Sapato (acquired by Ozon) . Prior to Intel Capital, Igor was Director for Business Development in Intel Broadband Wireless Group where he led engagements with major telecom operator around the world . He was also Chief of Staff to VP and GM of the group. Early in his career he was in product management defining Intel next generation optical and communication products. Igor has MBA from Wharton Business School and Computer Engineering degree from University of Kansas.
